AMITEC UK Ltd has been involved in a wide range of projects for a huge diversity of clients, and a selection from this extensive portfolio is shown below.

We have applied coating systems to large quantities of equipment such actuators, valves, and gearboxes for these projects, which have encompassed multiple specifications, including numerous conforming to NORSOK.

Equinor - Johan Castberg

Johan Castberg is a large subsea field in the Barents Sea (formally called Skrugard) and is being developed by an FPSO+ production vessel and is due to start production in late 2022.

BP – Mad Dog (Phase 2)

This is the second development of the southern portion of BP’s biggest discovery in the Gulf of Mexico and is due to begin production of oil in 2021.

BP – Shah Deniz

Shah Deniz is a large gas-condensate field located in the Caspian Sea, 70 km south east of Baku, and supplies Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkey.

BP – South Caucasus Pipeline​

This was constructed to distribute the gas from Shah Deniz, and has been operational since 2006, and was recently expanded to allow commercial deliveries to Turkey.

Total – Kaombo

Kaombo is a deep-water project consisting of six fields located 200 km of the coast of Angola, which are connected to two FPSO vessels.

ConocoPhillips – Greater Ekofisk Area

The Greater Ekofisk Area covers three fields located in the southern North Sea.

Aker BP – Ivar Aasen

Ivar Aasen is located in the norther North Sea, and has been producing oil since 2016, from a standalone platform.

Suncor Energy – Terra Nova

This field is located 350 km southeast of Newfoundland and is developed by an FPSO. Production has been running since 2002 and has recently had its life extended to 2031.

ENI Norge – Goliat

The Goliat oil and gas field, located 85 km northwest of Hammerfest, has been operational since 2016. The development consists of a circular, permanently anchored floating production unit.
